Not that i know of. I think that is one of the reasons why they do that, they wanna see how you do in a stressful situation. I have been to 4 interviews, the least number of panel was 3 but oh boy! The questions they asked was more stressful than having 20 people in the room. The interview is just one part if the application. If you have a competetive gpa, gre, experience, you should be ok, i think... Good luck.
Hello everyone,Just wondering if anyone knows of CRNA schools that have either has ONE of the following:
1. No interview.
2. Phone interview allowed.
3. In person interview required, but only with one person.
I ask this because I have read about these "panel" interviews with 6 or 7 people interviewing each applicant. The thought of that makes me a little nervous - I'm very personable and charming one on one, but in a pane interview setting I just feel the pressure of so many people staring at me/asking me questions at once would completely ruin my chances. So does anyone know any places with non-panel interviews? (aka: one of the 3 things listed above)
Hi,
Minneapolis School of Anesthesia and SMU interviews are done with 1-2 faculty personnel. A previous post regarding coping with stress: the OR can be a hostile environment for new people. When you show up, know your stuff but don't act too cocky. Otherwise, the staff will play on your fear.
Good luck!
