Hi-
Im in progress of completing my BSN currently, and am interested in becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and my question is whether any schools exist that require no previous work experience.
Basically it comes down to the fact that I am impatient and would like to finish all schooling at once and start my career immediately as a CRNA. I have great GPA and GRE, the only thing I lack is the experience. Any options?

I hope not, for the safety and well-being of patients.

Not so fast. Why dont you do 5 minutes of research on your own and answer your own question. Nursing education is lacking and ICU experience will be much more useful than your BSN.

If you want to do it without experience, go to med school.

In all due respect, do you honestly think its remotely safe for a newly graduated nurse with NO experience to be able to go on to CRNA and practice SAFELY?

It does not exist. Many colleges are thinking of requiring even more work experience, not less. Others are also in the process of switching to a doctoral program in anticipation that it will be required in the future.
You shouldn't want to skip the experience. I know that I would be scared to death to provide that kind of care without being able to hold my own in an ICU.
I am really losing all patience with students who don't even want to put in the minimum required clinical experience. We are talking about lives, here, just not cool gadgets to play with.

Looking back on it, because it wasn't obvious at the time, I think I was dangerous in ICU as a new grad for several MONTHS... no way would going to a CRNA program be appropriate straight out of RN school, no matter how smart you are or what degree you have. RN school barely skims the surface of what you need in a critical care environment.
Agree with above, but I get the feeling the "cool gadgets"= $$$$$$$ for many students.
