CRNA masters vs RN

Hello,

I am currently in my second year as a nursing student at a four-year school and I am considering masters after college. In order to apply for the master's program at my school, I need to work at an ICU for I believe 1.5 years first. I just wanted to know how much harder the master's program is compared to the nursing undergraduate program. It would be full time for 2 years and a semester, but I believe the payout will be worth it. Does anyone have any experience? Will it be harder since I cannot directly go and get my masters after my undergrad? Is it more time consuming than difficult? or what... Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Just after looking at your question I don't think you really have any clue what CRNA school is or what it will be. First I would recommend finding someone who can guide you a little better throughout your career and also start being proactive in researching the field of nurse anesthesia. There is absolutely no comparison to undergrad nursing. You will put in many hours everyday and miss a lot of family events, birthdays, nights out with friends, etc during CRNA school.
