Hi guys! I'm applying for 2017 admission! The application was due today right? I'm not sure when we should be hearing back, but I am most interested in the Hillman Scholars PhD program, as I want to do nursing research. My stats aren't amazing, especially for U Penn, but I figured I would give it a shot. 3.2 GPA from Binghamton University with a BA in Psychology. 161 Verbal, 149 Quant (ugh), 5.0 Essay on the GRE. My letters are from a professor I did research for, my supervisor when I worked as a peer advisor for my school's academic advising department, and my CNA instructor. I have my CNA license in NY, and I'm BLS/CPR certified. Fingers are crossed that we hear back quickly!

Hmm, not sure if you're on the right thread. This I was posting about the Penn CRNA program which was due back in July of 2016 (for a May 2017 start date).

Hello! I also applied to UPENN 2017 Direct entry BSN/MSN program. I am from Brandeis University with a 3.4 GPA majoring in Biology and Healthy Policy. My GRE score was 161 quantitative and 157 verbal and 4.5 writing. I already turned in my application with my recommendation letters. I haven't heard anything yet, but looking at past forums, I saw that they got interview notifications mid november!!! which is right around the corner.

Hello All,

I am currently in the process of applying for the 2018 start, and would love some feedback/advice from your recent application experiences.

Right now, I'm torn between applying by the first round deadline of Feb. 1 without taking the GRE or waiting until the 2nd round to take it and strengthen my application. Any and all thoughts are welcome, thank you in advance!

Hello! This is my first post ever on allnurses (I frequently use this as a resource but I never actually created an account). So I'm not positive I'm posting in the right area, but I was hoping to gain some information on the UPenn CRNA start date. I know it's in the summer but I haven't been able to find an exact start date, and I'd also be interested in knowing when Penn first reached out to applicants about interviews and then actual acceptance? Thank you for any information. I hope you're having an awesome semester!
