How far do you live from Brooklyn, perhaps we can meet up to practice together. I'm scheduled to take the cpne on 12/02/11. Really in need of a study partner.
Hey, I live in Long Island and I drive! I'm not scheduled yet cuz I just became eligible!

Wow, I wish I knew people from Brooklyn when I was studying for my CPNE it would have made it so much easier for me. I love group study especially when all parties have something to bring to the table. I remember converting my living room into a hospital and sims lab equipped with everything including an IV pole.
I opted to go upstate Utica to take my test. If you are planning on commuting back and forth you may just want to think about the early mornings. I suggest whether you go upstate or stay in Queens get a hotel by yourself and eat, breathe, and sleep CPNE for the weekend. You don't need any other distractions IMHO.

Hey Guys I have a problem with drawing up meds in the IM and Subq syringes. Here's what's happening:
I go to inject air into the vial, I pull back on the plunger, but the plunger just sucks right back in. So I detach the needle pull back the air I want, reattach the needle, but now the air won't push through the needle and into the vial. What am I doing wrong?
