Thats good to know. Thank you. Im kinda flippin every couple of days or so, from confidence to nausea. Anyhoo, I googled the hospital and it didnt post that there was a peds unit. I thought I would try and get the inside scoop about it. Just wondering why Excelsior would use a hospital for clinicals if they aren't set up for peds. I like that its small. Im trying to wrap my head around it and compare it to one of the hospitals here in St. Louis. -Okay, back to the books. Thanks again for your honesty with the area. Shelly
Isn't All Saints the hospital in Racine? Don't think I will ever forget that place.......
Well, it reads All Saints on my papers, I must have been informed that it was called St. Marys. I don't know what the real name of the place is, especially now with everybody selling out to everybody else. I do, however, have a definitive address!! --How was your CPNE? Got any tips? Im freakin out because I don't know if we are supposed to remove our gloves BEFORE we tape down the dressing or AFTER. And, seriously that 4x4 is just too much mass. Its like a big fat wad of gauze spread to the edge covered with a 4x4 and an abd, and me standing there with gloves on looking at the tape hanging from the table wondering what to do next.
I applied for Wisconsin then Ohio as my choices. It only took about 4 weeks to get a letter. Okay, and I don't know how computer literate or whatever you are, but I was waiting for a reply by MAIL, as stated. Yup, there I was hanging out at the MAILBOX, you know the one, the one with that red flaggy thing, ontop of the post at the end of my driveway. Yeah, not the right mailbox. You got to log into your excelsior account, and click on "new messages". Thats the mailbox they are talkin about. Then click on the stuff and print. Oh, in case I haven't mentioned it, yes, I am a dork. The aforementioned is proof. --Anyhoo, yeah, it took about 4 weeks. I applied in April 2010.
