Has anyone tested here? Just curious on testing experiences here.

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.
@bgriffin32 I failed both FCCAs. I want to cry. Don't know where I went wrong. I purchased all of the books and even studygroup101 materials. I had a stressful week and dont feel like I truly applied myself. This is my first time failing an EC class... How soon can I register to take the classes again?

You can also speak with Excelsior advisors about your FCCAs to get feedback. Were you close to passing? I'm so sorry. :(

@pixie 41 on both.

I'm sorry about that... Maybe your nerves got the best of you. 1st say a prayer and ask for Jehovah's help. Then study study study. Go over the areas that troubled you. You can reregister right away as soon as excelsior has verified that you failed. Blessing to you on your next try. You made it this far, you can do it. Try not to seek to much advice from the Internet and just focus.

@lpn2rn2Crna thank you. Keep us updated on your journey as well. 😘

Ok I will. Currently waiting on a date to take the CPNE. Will be doing Sheri Taylor's workshop in Aug.

Update. I passed my CPNE this pat weekend in Alice Texas. It was stressful. My advice, know your care plans inside and out. This is what most of us failed on. I failed my first PCS on careplans but was able to come back and pass my next 3. They want to know that you have that critical thinking. They look for this in your careplans. Also, know your critical elements. The CE's that I had were very nice. Especially the last 2 on Sunday. I could feel that they wanted me to pass. Everyone says to control your nerves. This is very true. Had I not went in on Sunday with the relaxed attitude that I had, I truly believe that I would have failed. But I had decided that I had prepared as well as I could have and was ok no matter how it turned out. I hope this helps. Feeling so excited and blessed. Thankful for all of the support from family, friends, and the other students testing.

I was going to do Sheri but so many people said her classes are so big, does she really have 25-30 students in one class?

CONGRATS!!! Thank you for that advice. Really appreciate it.

Shelia- congrats!

Thank you all.
