I made this thread for anyone that applied to the Specialty Training Program for the County of Santa Clara ( Valley Medical, O' Connor and St. Louise hospital) ?!

Has anyone applied to this program before and how long did it take you to get a response back from them?

Hi! Thank you for making this thread. I applied to the specialty training program and on sept 1, I got an email saying my application was accepted and that I passed the competitive rating examination. I have not heard anything since then. Hopefully they start reaching out soon!

Hi! Applied to all the positions for clinical nurse I that the county of Santa Clara posted. I got an email to schedule interview yesterday for the position of clinical nurse I - Emergency department in O’Connor hospital.

I am waiting to hear back from them.

Welcome! I got the same email but haven't heard from them after that. A nurse working there told me to wait a couple months because they are still training new nurses that applied before us. Good luck!

Welcome! How did the interview go and what was your rank number when you got an email from them?

Hi! Well, I got another email saying the cancelled the referral so no interview. Also, this was for the position I applied back in May. I am sad though?

I haven't heard back yet. I applied to 2 training programs and some Clinical Nurse I positions but only got emails about my ranking. I spoke to a nurse that works at one of the hospitals and she said we should wait a couple months because they are currently training new nurses that applied a couple months ago.
