what are some of the items that are counted as intake when trying to find out i&o, sometimes they trick us using items im not sure about like the iv fluid and jello,,, is iv fluid and jello considered intake? any other tricky items to mention?

Yes IVF fliuds are counted as is jello, ice cream, ice chips, and Popsicles

IV fluid is fluid is it not? Why wouldn't it be included?
The general rule for measuring intake is that anything liquid at room temperature is to be included.

Well, Jell-o isn't liquid at room temp, but it counts because it's almost all water. So's custard (mostly milk).

if you jello long enough....lol. Jello, ice cream, pudding, the broth of soup, all drinks, and IV fluids, popsicles, fudgicles, etc.
