Hi all,
While studying, I noticed that LaCharity and Kaplan have different orders in relation to removal of PPE. Does anyone know what the correct order is that we need to know for NCLEX, or where i could find this information??? :uhoh21:
the cdc is the most correct..i also came up with an acronym to remember because as long as you remember and write down "go-meg" which are the steps to put it on..just reverse the process to take it off!
putting on ppe: "go-meg" 1. gown 2. mask 3. eyes (goggles) 4. gloves
removing ppe: just reverse the steps!! : 1.gloves 2. eyes 3. mask 4.gown
hope this helps!
oops! your right..lol! i read it too quick..ugh let me edit my little trick-which will be more beneficial for remembering to put ppe on..lol!hi copelald,in second page of cdc pdf file weblink, in removing ppe i notice that mask in the last to remove.pls correct me if im wrong. thanks
edit:
putting on ppe: "go-meg" 1. gown 2. mask 3. eyes (goggles) 4. gloves
removing ppe: "gl-egm" 1.gloves 2. eyes (goggles) 3. gown 4. mask
i give up lol!!

hi silver dragon,
is the CDC info more reliable than Saunders and Kaplan book?
