Could it be true that the coronavirus is the ultimate result of 5G affecting the bodies ability to bind hemoglobin and oxygen together?

Thought you might find this article interesting. Read down to the bottom where it states we just dont know and only time will tell if 5G will cause problems.

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/326141

"There is certainly evidence that ties RF-EMF exposure to a small increase in the risk of developing certain cancers and other adverse health outcomes."

"But the jury is still out on how serious a threat RF-EMFs in general — and 5G bandwidths in particular — pose to our health."

"The range and magnitude of potential impacts of 5G technologies are under-researched, although important biological outcomes have been reported with millimeter-wavelength exposure. These include oxidative stress and altered gene expression, effects on skin, and systemic effects, such as on immune function,” ...

If we dont ask questions how will we share knowledge and learn from each other?

Engaging in anti-science conspiracy theories does nothing to further knowledge. In the current setting where he (and you?) are attempting to inject it into discussions about COVID-19, it is outright dangerous.

With a looming pandemic, New Mike is the US equivalent of the Sierra Leonian villagers who believed that Ebola was caused by bad spirits and threw rocks at the epidemiologists who tried to explain it with science in their attempt to head off the 2014 Ebola outbreak.

Except somehow he has RN after his name. That would be comical if it wasn't so pathetic and dangerous. The "Rocks" here are misinformation and disingenuous "questions." Anyone spreading that kind of BS and distraction can go crawl back under a rock and stop pretending to be a healthcare professional.

SARS-COV-2 was fully sequenced in early January and is lab identifiable by its RNA. Mike asking if COVID-19 is caused by cell phone towers instead the virus is the equivalent of asking if the humeral theory or miasma theory are better explanations than germ theory and molecular biology... or "innocently" asking if homeopathy is better than vaccines. There is an ulterior motive to the question.

You "humoring" him by posting more distracting crap about unrelated cellphone risks makes you complicit.

CDC has updated webpage for COVID-19:

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

See Health professional section, Infection control:

My son a diesel truck mechanic just ordered N95 respirator and masks for himself...... told him his brother a chef (who preps and delivers food for concession stands + restaurant) at a Major League soccer stadium holding 17,000 persons has much higher risk of contacting a virus than him.

Better for him to stock up on tissues, use alcohol gel after inside truck cab, and buy Lysol concentrate for cleanup end of shift his tools/work area.

I disagree. It was a simple (and IMO a sincere question). The scientific method begins with a question and then proceeds from there. We also use a form of this in nursing called the nursing process. This is how science works and much good has come from this throughout time. While the CDC and WHO might have good info there is no reason not to further the conversation or do further research. Many people over the years have been laughed at for asking questions or having theories that have later been proven correct. I for one hope people keep asking questions!

All I can say is that is the biggest pile of antiscience apologist BS I've seen today, and the worst part is it is a wolf's approach: wrapping itself in the sheep's cloak of innocent plausibility. "This" is not "how science works."

"This" wasn't some innocent middle school kid or uneducated disadvantaged person asking out of complete ignorance of biology.

He claims to be a RN. You are a RN (so you claim). You've taken Microbiology, or at least Biology. You and he have NO credibility to feign ignorance about whether a virus causes this disease. If you are really this ignorant, you should go back to school: Not nursing school. Biology 101.

He is pretending to be asking an innocent question "for science." What he really wants to do is turn a discussion, including one about COVID, into a discussion about cell phones.

He is a troll and you are being manipulated... or you are a troll too.

If you were genuine and thought him sincere, you would have explained that COVID-19 is not caused by a virus.

You didn't. You used the opportunity to talk more about cell phones.

Stop taking this thread off the rails.

LOL, I am not a troll. There are many things (medications, environment etc) that can alter one's immune system making them more susceptible to bacteria, virus', cancer etc. I don't see how this is anti science to pose the question if 5G can lower immune systems or cause other physiologic alterations (thus causing one to get the Coronavirus) , or cause cancer etc. So you think that the scientific method and the nursing process are anti-science, well I guess you are entitled to your opinion but I continue to disagree. There is always much we don't know about diseases and long term consequences regarding many different things we do (exp. medication, technology, foods etc. ). If we don't ask questions and continue to study these things how will we know (you don't know what you don't know). There are many things we once thought were "safe" that now because either of the study of those things and/or long term issues now showing up, we know to be harmful.

Agree to disagree!
