Contacting the CA BRN

Frustrating! I sat for my boards two weeks ago today and tried calling the BRN to ensure my file is complete, but can't talk to anyone. It says there are a high volume of calls and that they can't accept any more at this time. Anyone have any luck? A specific time you used to call? Anyone try the e-mail address listed on the site?

They will be closed tomorrow (Thurs, 2/12) and Mon (2/16). :(

NVM... Finally got ahold of the BRN. File complete, wait 10-30 days by mail...

Glad to hear that you were able to get in touch with them, it is so frustrating trying to communicate with the Board.

I called the BRN before and it really took a long time before somebody answered but i never hang up until they pick up may call. So i'd say just be patient about it. I called like after lunchtime. And maybe you can try e-mails as well but i havent tried that one either. Try calling again, you can never tell somebody might answer right away.

Best time to contact any BON is first thing in the morning, just as soon as they open their phone lines. Have neveer had a problem getting thru to any of them around the country.

If you wait until later, you are going to be waiting and waiting in most cases.
