I have been reassigned to a unit that uses the Constavac blood reinfusion systems. There are no manuals on how to operate these units. In the interest of not causing harm, I need some guidance. I have not been able to find a valid manual or video on how these devices should be operated. Any suggestions/direction would be most appreciated.

Have you contacted the education department at work?

What kind of place do you work at? Quick search on Google shows this to be some sort of 'blood saver'.

Check with your staff education department, they should have a video at least. There are also written instructions in your hospital's P&P, well, I hope so anyway. Hopefully there is someone on your new unit who can walk you through it also.
