please do anyone know what is a a definition of a u.s. bank? my problem is i am asked to pay the registration fee and i can only use a u.s.bank to pay for that fee, and it is also indicated if i use a non u.s. bank they will return my money, i email the nysed nursing unit several times now and apparently they are incapable of answering my simple question if the philippine national bank here in our country is considered to be a u.s. bank? i don't want to make a mistake it is very expensive to send bank draft by fedex, so please anyone know what bank i can get a bank draft that is a valid u.s. bank?that is located here in manila philippines, thank you for any answer, god bless to all of you

yes ma'm i already went to some banks here, but preferably i would like the pnb bank draft cause it is the bank i use for sending money and also i have an account w/ that bank. some banks here have so many requirements just to send a bank draft, pnb as far as the other banks are concerned is the easiest to get a bank draft.

then if you have PNB then better use it.

the problem if i send the bank draft to them and they just return it back because it is not considered as a u.s. bank, i email them seeking the answer to my question if pnb is considered as u.s.bank but alas no reply!.it will be a very expensive mistake for me to make if i use the wrong bank to send my registration fee.

i guess it wont matter as long as the currency on that drawn draft check is in US dollars.

First, you have to ask if your bank has a branch overseas, particularly the country where you'll send the draft. Then if they do, ask for what is called the DEMAND DRAFT. That's it. Hope this helps.

I paid mine using PNB, hope this helps.. and better yet why not ask the bank itself..

yes, thank you i already inquire the bank about it but their answer was that they are an international bank, maybe that is close enough as being a u.s. bank

a lot of aplicants use pnb, metrobank and other bank who have this service who have no problem.
