Hello everyone I have applied to the NVCC nursing program for the 2024 fall. Im wondering if my stats are any good or if I should be worried. Whats everyone' stats too if I may ask.

Nursing GPA 3.53

TEAS 92.7

A&P 1 A-

I wasnt waitlisted ..I got in but my stats were 

65 TEAS

4.0 GPA

And A in A and P one

don't give up.68 is not bad

10 is a good waitlist number, you should get in!

I got into Norwalk, and my stats are:

Nursing GPA: 3.4

A&P 1: A

TEAS: 78

I wil share my stats as well, hoping to let any future students to look at this thread and get some insight! 

At least with Gateway I had:

GPA: 3.67 (Although it may have been different from how I have calculated but likely around that number.)

AP 1: B+ (A Summer course and not sure if they weighed it the same or not so a mystery for sure!)

TEAS: 76.7%

TEAS score was the one having me worried but it seemed that it was just OK!

Has anyone been able to register for classes yet? And for those who work full time, how are you planning on juggling classes and work? I'm most likely going down to part time.

Yes I registered! And I work in a restaurant so it's pretty flexible but I plan to do only saturdays and Sundays

I was curious too what the class schedule is like and clinicals.

Did you have to wait for someone to reach out to you regarding scheduling or did you just book them yourself online?

I just searched for the fall class and did it myself. It let me register so I'm assuming there's no issues with it

Does capital have day and evening classes?

That is my exact plan as a person who serves at 2 diners LOL, I will be working Saturday and Sunday but if my boss REALLY needs me I'll do a half shift for Fridays, at the very least.

Also, I'm hoping to get onto the waitlist for the Microbiology Summer class at Gateway, it's the only coreq I have to take and I just don't want to do it during my nursing courses this fall 😕 but if I'm not able to take it during the Summer, it is what it is!

I got waitlisted #35 and my stats were

A&P 1- B

TEAS- 83%

GPA- 3.2
