Hello everyone I have applied to the NVCC nursing program for the 2024 fall. Im wondering if my stats are any good or if I should be worried. Whats everyone' stats too if I may ask.

Nursing GPA 3.53

TEAS 92.7

A&P 1 A-

Now I can't remember exactly what they said during my phone info session, but I think it was either was either after the lab ends (so 6 weeks into 1st semester) or just 2-3 weeks in. I think it was the former... which would be nice because I think for many of us, this would mean there isn't overlap of lab and clinical, so there would never be a time when we have to be in person for nursing school obligations any more than 2 days per week 

Yeah clinical starts on week 7. I have an old schedule from 2021 if anyone wants to see that.

Hi guys!

So I still need to take micro bio and thankfully I was able to get into one of the Summer session classes at Middlesex. Although, now that I know about the University of Phenix online microbio option im honestly just tempted to take that one since I think it would be easier and convenient to not have to in person for lab twice a week. So my questions are has anyone taken micro bio during the Summer at any of the ct state schools or with Professor Akalushi Muthukumarana specifically? Or the phenix online microbio class? Trying to decide what will be the easiest before what im assuming will be a busy first semester.

Has anyone heard from their advisor yet about scheduling classes? I tried to register for them myself, but it won't let me because they haven't entered in my pre-reqs yet.

I recently emailed them about this and they said an advisor would contact us soon. I am also getting antsy because it would be nice to know what my schedule is going to look like ASAP so I can tell my employer and have an idea what my financial situation will be like! I'll be at the Norwalk campus

I got an email today about scheduling an appointment with an advisor to register for the class

I was checking class registration just now, and I am now able to register for Nur100. A few days ago checking, it gave me an error saying I needed Microbiology which I already did but it looks like they verified my transcript recently but without any notification. This is with Gateway so not sure how the other campuses are letting folks register now.
