For us the dosage calculation has been during the first month of the semester, theres 10 questions and you have to get 9/10 correct to pass, you get 3 chances to take it, the other 2 attempts are like weeks apart though. For clinical theres a morning 6am-2pm shift or an evening 1pm-9pm shift and you pick your preference but its not guaranteed.

Hi! I am not sure the acceptance rate but I know alot of people who got in who were waitlisted. I know someone who was over #50 on the waitlist who got in. Just keep in mind that this can always change by year though.

Hi guys! So I still need to take micro bio and thankfully I was able to get into one of the Summer session classes at Middlesex. Although, now that I know about the University of Phenix online microbio option im honestly just tempted to take that one since I think it would be easier and convenient to not have to in person for lab twice a week. So my questions are has anyone taken micro bio during the Summer at any of the ct state schools or with Professor Akalushi Muthukumarana specifically? Or the phenix online microbio class? Trying to decide what will be the easiest before what im assuming will be a busy first semester.

Yeah another user was talking about the same thing. I really don't understand why they are recommending this because yeah like you said in the semester outline it suggests you take it with the nursing class. If this was the case they should have made microbio an admissions requirement like chemistry used to be. There are some Summer sections still open for microbio or you can try taking it completely online at the university of Pheonix. I also wonder if Micro is a class thats offered during Winter session?

I might just suck it up and take the Summer micro at capital, my only problem with it is that the lab section meets 9-12 Tuesday and Thursday, which isn't ideal because I work full time and im waitlisted for the 5:30 class at middlesex

Hi guys, Happy Friday! The Capital nursing classes are up, theres two options. Also, continuing with the microbio talk does anyone know if the class is offered for Winter session? Now that I am enrolled in the nursing course for fall it won't even allow me to add microbio because it says I've reached a credit maximum. Does anyone know why this is?

Wow! That is so surprising to me that they'd suggest deferring to Spring! I don't blame you at all for not wanting to do that. Especially when in the nursing packet it suggests taking it second semester, in capitals individual packet it says *please* take it by Spring 2025 semester as well. Ideally id love to be able to take it Summer 2025..

Awesome! thanks for the update I was wondering about that. Anyone else going into nursing this fall still need to take microbio? I am trying to decide when would be best for me to take it, I cant do Summer because all the spots are full.
