hello out there (out there out there out ther out the out th out...that is an ECHO!) If there IS anyone out there, I'm an RN with a couple years home care experience, been here in New Haven, working home care in Bridgeport for about a year...It looks like this CT move will "stick" after all. Wasn't quite sure when we first got here - getting work was not easy. That was Last summer though; looking for newer, better work at the moment. Would Love to get in a facility and out of home care for a while...any ideas? In any case Hello Out There (insert echo here?) --Johnnie

Hello Jenn! Apple Healthcare is a pretty big LTC throughout CT. I can't speak for their character, pay or anything else. What area do you live in?

I live in new haven county but pretty close to fairfield county and all major highways so im extremely open about working anywhere around here. Yes apple rehab is one of my top choices actually! Theyre really well-known and a reputable company. I actually applied to two apple facilities with custom cover letter, resume, etc but nothing so far. Getting discouraged. But ive been going to about 3 places a day so im hoping something comes out of it soon!!! Thank u for responding!!! I didnt think itd be this hard! Im open to any pay and available days/nights, weekends.. Im trying to stay positive and hope all my efforts will pay off sooner or later! What about you? Are you from ct?

Hello! I know a great home care companion based out of Plainville & Stratford if you are interested. They focus on pediatric home care. I enjoy it though it's not my FT job.
