Hi everyone,
Sorry but i'm a bit confused about the steps of the pearson vue trick.
Now, we HAVE TO put in credit card information and click to next page to get pop up or proceed on.
But.... I am afraid of getting charged so can I just put in fake/random numbers for the card? Or do i have to use real credit card? If I put in random numbers and it says card number is invalid and have to input numbers again, is this the bad pop up? (No right? Since the bad pop up is when it lets you proceed to register for the test again?)
I have heard of people using expired cards/no money gift cards and it works?
Can i just buy a visa gift card for like $25 and try this trick? But what if it does register and there's no enough money on the card for the test, will this looks bad/won't let me register?
Also..... I just barely took my NCLEX but how long to find out you pass? How do you find this out on the breeze website? Just register for breeze?
And if not using breeze.... how long for pearson vue to send you letter of pass/fail?
Sorry for such novice questions but thank you for your time!
Hi. One thing I can share with you about CA Breeze..
If you already have an account, log on and then check on upper right and you will see "License/Registration Information". If you don't see any numbers underneath, then there's two possibilities. One, you failed. The other, they have not updated your account. One reason being, that you passed but have not paid for your license. Now here's what I call the CBT or Ca Breeze Trick (which I don't know if this has been going on or was done in the past)... On that same page on your account, check upper right (again) and click on "Update Profile". On the next page, go down and click on "Add Licences". The next page will ask you to pick the BON and then RN on the drop down menu. Do that and the next page, which has simple instructions. When you get to the page where it says "Good news!", and you find your full name, a number, license type, etc....then, you know that you passed and see the license number given to you.
Whew! That was long! LOL
Don't stress...don't even bother doing the PVT, just wait. Good things come at the right time. Best of luck to you.

Hi Scrub Smurf,
I went to the "Good News" page with numbers above my name, but there are no numbers under my name where it is highlighted in green. Instead, it says, "license/registration" twice. Does that mean I didn't pass? Or is the only batch of numbers on top of my name that I see, is the license number? It has been 48 hrs and nothing posted on breeze yet.

Hello LaDeeDah. The license number should be underneath the "license/registration Number". Now I don't know how long it takes for them to include the license number on this page once you passed, so keep on checking. But if within a week and it's still not showing, then I suggest that you prepare yourself to retake the exam.

ugh...I might have failed then I only see the "Indiv/Org number" above my name, but no numbers underneath except for the description "license/registration number" it'll be 72 hours total in about 16 hours
I keep checking every hour.

I see. Well..keep your hopes up. Keep checking. If you get a letter-sized envelope by mail, then you will really know how you did. Don't worry, failure is one way of making things perfect second time around.

Thank you! I'm a repeat test taker and now I have to go through that horrible feeling again. Still no result yet. I'm in California and went all the way to 265 questions. I haven't caved in for the PVT yet, but looks like I probably didn't make it again.

Finally caved in and gave the PVT a try. I used an American Express birthday gift card with no name on it and then I used my debit card, entered everything correctly expect for the expiration date and sure enough, got the bad pop up again. Good luck to the rest of those who are still waiting. You guys got this!
I didn't bother with the PVT, just wanted to relax after NCLEX lol. Anyway my result on Cali breeze was quick! Only took a day and a half, searched for my name in the database and saw it. My brother also tested for NCLEX and he saw his name in breeze after about 2 days.
Hope you passed!
