confused on istudysmart.com & excellsior

I am a LPN, who wants to complete the online RN program through Excellsior college. Istudysmart.com has evaluated my transcripts, and according to them I need 7 classes, which is what I needed for the traditional program at Owens college. What is he difference between excellsior and istudysmart.com? Has anyone completed their RN online, if so hoiw was it?

Just a note, make sure your state accepts the excelsior program, here in GA they do not!!

Excelsior College is an accredited school that grants degrees in nursing, the other is a business that makes money off students that could deal directly with any school and save money. If you want to know how many classes you need to get a nursing degree from Excelsior College, you should call Excelsior College and speak to one of their advisors. Only an Excelsior College employee can speak for the College.

just a note, make sure your state accepts the excelsior program, here in ga they do not!!

you need to check with your bon in the state you live in to see if they accept ec. also remember that if your state does except ec and you plan on moving to another state, you may not get endorsed by state #2 cause you went the ec route.

also go to the distance learning forum and there is a ton of info on ec, the good, bad and ugly!
