confused with ATT and eligibility

Hi everyone! I'm confused about how the ATT and eligibility works, I'm not sure if i understands it correctly, it says that eligibility is valid for two years and the ATT for a year. It starts when you pay the fee and register on the testing vendor which is the pearsonvue. So here's my scenario I scheduled my test on my last day of my ATT but just realized that I can't make it that day, In short my ATT will expire without me having to take the exam. I wonder if i need to re-apply for eligibility at CA BRN or just repay and re-schedule at pearsonvue.. Hope someone can help me clarify this matter. tia.

i failed on my exam but my eligibility is for 2 yrs, i still have til 2013. does that mean i have to just register at pearsonvue? sorry im confused right now, just found out i failed. im from ca. thanks!

Btw,I'm sorry for that bad news.

I have a question for everybody here,,, Can you apply for eligibility since ATT will soon be expire in a week and wouldn't be able to sit on boards?

Your ATT is valid for whatever period of time set by the BoN for one testing. If you do not schedule your test before your ATT expires you must reapply with the BoN. So if your ATT expires Dec31, 2012 you cannot test on January 1, 2013.

Depends in the BoN but usually it must expire before you can reapply as if it is technically valid you should be reapplying as you are eligible to schedule the test.
