Ok so here is a deal. It the dr calls you stupid but the great deal is that the dr forgot to place an order that's why certain things were not done. How would you tell this to the dr?

I would not say a THING to that doctor. My manager would be all the talking.. until he apologized... in the very same place he called me stupid.

Just one of the reasons why CPOM is so welcome... the conversation would go like "Sorry, but I don't see that you have placed that order. I will be more than glad to carry it out as soon as you do so" In my organization, disrespectful language is a reportable incident so that would also definitely happen.
"sorry"?? Never..ever.. say sorry to a doctor!

In the real would no doctor has called me stupid. I do not look like a nurse in real life. I look as though I belong on America's most wanted. I'm always respectful. I would just point out that I can't do anything without an order and look there was no order for that, Dr. Feel Good. One instants I called the Doctors wife and said, The Old man is off again. He starting to think he is god again." The Next day he apologize. But I was pretty wild in my younger days. Today I would just say that I don't like being called stupid for something he failed to do.
If you keep it professional, nothing should happen

Flat to his face or on the phone. I have done this; it's a great way at terminating getting yelled at by a doc.
I learned this after watching several episodes of "The Dog Whisperer."
