Concordia College ABSN 2020

Hi guys, just wanted to see if anyone has applied to/heard back from Concordia (located in New York) for spring 2020 absn. Any info will be helpful!!

I applied to a few other schools but they all have different start dates. I cant get a clear understanding on where this school lies with the reviews. They have a high NCLEX rate and IDK if people are saying that its difficult bc it is or bc its just nursing school.

I attended the virtual info session last night and it provided good insight. However, Concordia isn't my first choice. I have to few other schools as well and im still waiting for response. It's the NCLEX rate and a good commute that made me apply.

They wanted me to retake a couple courses which would set me back to Fall 2021. Luckily, I got accepted to another program because I don't want to waste anymore time or energy waiting for other programs/schools.

By then, I would be halfway done with the program I got accepted to.

Western Governors University's BSN prelicensure program. I got accepted for the Dec cohort start date.

I didn't know they had a prelicensure program. How does that work? isn't WGU an online school?

Yeah, the fundamentals are online and then they send you to do your clinicals and lab simulations throughout whatever area you applied for. The program is only available in certain states.

I don't think so. Looks like it's only available in California, Texas, New Mexico, Florida and Utah.

You might have to move if you're interested in the program. I'm not sure if you can travel back and forth. I think some people might be able to do that. It could work better if you have family who live in one of these areas. You can stay there during the time you're enrolled in the program if it's too expensive to travel back and forth.
