Hi guys, just wanted to see if anyone has applied to/heard back from Concordia (located in New York) for spring 2020 absn. Any info will be helpful!!
Anyone who attended the virtual information session on Tuesday understand the ATI classes or work? I kept getting disconnected so it was a bit tricky to understand... but if I’m not mistaken we’re required to complete some ATI coursework or exam while pursuing the degree? I know nursing school is not a joke and is a lot of work so I don’t know if people are giving it bad reviews because it’s not easy or because the curriculum is actually not aiming towards the students success.
but then again, their NCLEX pass rate shows otherwise ...

I think a portion of the reviews are because the school is expensive. And another part might be because of the level of difficulty some students entering the program neglected to anticipate.
@chempansy I have a feeling of that as well. nursing programs in general are not easy and an accelerated program is nowhere easier and as far as tuition within NY all schools offering an accredited ABSN program have tuition in the high 80 reaching up to 100K. So 63K is an OK range I’d say to invest in your future.
