I am thinking about attending Concorde Career College. Has any one has a experience with them. Or know of anyone that has.

Hello everyone. I just went to conconcorde in garden grove california to ge info on the nursing program. I was told that i would first need to take the medical assinting program before taking the lvn one..is that true???

Ok. By the way its pretty expensive the lvn program is this a good college to go to?? I had previously gone to everest to get info but i was told concorde was more well accredited..also is this program really hard to pass?

I am considering this program in kansas city. It is 35K which is pricey. I have a BS and MBA and do not have time to "wait". Layoffs forced me to seek this profession out aggresively. I want my RN really bad and will go an Accelerated BSN route possibly too. Its just pre-reqs that I have not completed yet. My business degrees are useless now and healthcare is where its at. If its a solid program and legit and transferable to other schools and careers sign me up. Ideas and help please...

NO!! You do not have to be a MA before a LPN! The reason they told you this was to get more $$$ which is their main goal at Concorde. The only reason I could see them saying this too you is b/c you didn't test high enough or they want to get as much $$$ from you as possible. There are sooo many LPN programs in CA I would look around

Concorde is not Regionally accredited so you wont be able to transfer it to another college/university if you have a BS then look into a Accelerated BSN program that is hands down your best bet

I am doing the BSN that starts Oct 09. Anyone else?

Hey, Mellue! I'm also starting the Oct. 2009 BSN program:yeah: While I'm sooo excited/anxious to start, I'm nervous.

do you have any health care experience? I'm a cna but that's about it.

i haven't been working for the past couple of years, but i did work as a critical care technician ("cna" pretty much) for about three years or so. i've been told that the bsn program's schedule is quite hectic, so i won't be working for the first couple of semesters. afterwards, hopefully i can re-enter the workforce as a unit aide/ cna, prior to working as a registered nurse. i'm hoping to get my msn as well, so i still have quite a ways to go.

I am wondering if anyone has information on Beth-El's accelerated nursing program at UCCS in the Springs? I'm surprised at the lack of information about this school on here. I am just curious about how smoothly people feel the program runs, how helpful the instructors are, and what you overall liked or disliked about the program. Also, the admissions page mentions a pre-admission assessment and I have no idea what to study for this so if anyone has any information on that, I would really appreciate it! :)

Has anyone else applied to the CSU Pueblo degree plus program for summer of 2010? I just turned in my application.

I haven't heard too many great things about the program, which is discouraging, but I don't have many options available for getting my BSN and I'd like it ASAP.

Does anyone have any insight on it?

hello fellow applicant!! i have applied to the fast track bsn program for summer of 2010. was there an application fee for the nursing application? i can never seem to get a hold of anyone in the nursing program. do you know when we are supposed to hear back regarding acceptance?

Hi! I had to call the school and ask to be transferred to the nursing department; no one would ever answer the number on the nursing department website. I had to pay $25 to apply to CSU, but there was no fee for the nursing school. And they told me I should know within a month, so I'm hoping to hear something by November! Good luck to you!!!
