Well I am a recently engaged 24 yr old. No kids, thank the lord! I am ready for the program to start. I was freaked out about pathophys so i bought an older edition of the text and the study guide and have been going through it to hopefully gain an edge. We are also trying to buy a house. So with planning a wedding, buying a house, and working-I hope I can do it all. My name is Melissa by the way. Where does your hubby work? Where is he getting his rn-bsn?

Awesome! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? I am freaked out about the first quarter classes. have you been out of school for a while or are you just plowing right through???

The classes are Health Assesment and Lab Pharmacology and Lab Pathophysiology Professional Topics of Nursing I think pharm and patho are going to be the hardest. At least those are the 2 days a week classes not just once a week. I've heard that the health asses is the easiest.

Hey did you get the email that has our tent schedule in it. Mon Thurs and Fri are our days for class.

Yeah we can def car pool. I'm not sure where that is but I live at Broadway and Arapahoe.

Yeah Im going to ride from downtown Littleton. Also I was just in at school on friday to turn all those papers in we needed to. Jeff said he is going to be emailing out a tenative schedule sometime this week. Are you excited to start!?!?

Jeff said our schedule will probably be like the July BSN starts class. Which was tues wed thursday from 930 am to about 230 pm. I hope that is how it is, thatd be nice. Yes I am going to ride the light rail. Maybe we could be light rail buddies!!:wink2:

Hey is anyone out there starting DSN in Oct 2009 for their BSN? I am and was wanting to get to know some of you before hand. My name is Melissa and I am 24. I will be starting the BSN program On Oct 5, 2009. I live in Littleton, Co.

can you guys put the branch bias away and give some good advice and real experiences. You all have just said go army or go blue. But what we are looking for is what is it really like to be a military nurse. What is a normal day/schedule like? ECT!!!!

can anyone shed some light on the financial packages you all got? Loan repayment, sign-on bonuses, ect....

So did DSN help you get your job? Do you work here in Denver? Was the accred retro-active? I am going there regardless but was just wondering.
