I am thinking about attending Concorde Career College. Has any one has a experience with them. Or know of anyone that has.

how was the HESI? is the math portion hard? does it have alot of word problems?

I thought the HESI was pretty easy. They give you a calculator for the math part, and there are several word problems.

hi there! thankyou for replying! I appreciate it! okay well I guess i GO BACK TO MY STUDIES! thankyou again

hi there! thankyou for replying! I appreciate it! okay well I guess i GO BACK TO MY STUDIES! thankyou again

No problem! I am actually starting april 6th, so let me know if you have any questions!

okay! thanks Im planning to start on July 09~

Yeah the Hesi was easy, I got a 96% on the math portion with only skimming the study guide. Have you signed up to take the Hesi? What program are you applying to? I know the July start for the BSN is filling up fast so if you haven't met with Jeff yet and signed up to take the Hesi I would do so ASAP.

Hi you guys sorry I didnt get to reply on Friday! But I passed the HESI!!! Yeahay!! you guys were right the test was pretty easy.. I got a 98% on the math but did ok on the reading comprehension:yeah:I was told to contact the school on Monday to set up an appointment for my paper work. I guess Ill have the confirmation by next week if Im really in or not, it was a bummer my advisor wasnt there to tell me, but hopefully he comes back on Monday and Ill know for sure if I could be in the July 09 class to get my BSN. Im so glad that its over! thankyou for for all your guys help and advise! I hope to see you guys in school!

Congrats! Let us know if you make it in for the July class! If not, I'm sure you will be at the top of the waitlist and most likely will be in our class anyway!!

Hi guys! I just got my acceptance letter last week. (now I just need to finish the pre-reqs I'm taking now!) I'm really looking forward to starting in July! :) I'm not sure if I will be working or not, I'm just wondering if anyone else will be and if so what kind of job. :)

I still need to do the CPR and Financial Aid so there's lots to get done between now and then. One question, how are you or how does anyone get to class without paying for a parking pass? Light rail? How many blocks is it to the school? Sorry I have lots of questions, I just have so much to figure out between now and then! :)

Thanks for all the replies! I'd love to keep meeting future classmates so if you're starting in July post a reply! :)

How far ahead did you all apply? I am wanting to get into the Oct ADN class. I still have pre-reqs to take during the summer session, should I wait until they are done, or apply right away (taking more this semester too)?

TIA!!

Edit: Nevermind! I am going for the Jan 2010 BSN program and was told to contact admissions in the first of July so I can be put on the list the 3rd week of July, woot!!

jessijae- I'm in the same boat as you! I have to do CPR, get finances all squared away. I think I am going to ride the lightrail because there is a station pretty close to where I live. I think it is only 2 blocks to school so it shouldn't be bad. I'm not planning on working during school. I have a new baby and trying to juggle the two will be enough. (He will be 6 months then)

Who here is doing the BSN program?
