Hi everyone, I'm starting this thread so we can share information about the CAS, the program we should pass in order to gain registration in Queensland, Australia. I have passed all four components of the CAS challenge test and it can be done with hard work and a lot of prayer, you do not really need agencies for this. For starters, the challenge test is a 70 item test with multiple choice questions, occasionally with identification items also.
hi! what you need to pay is only AU$158 for the application fee and assessment charge (non-refundable).I just received my receipt after a month of submitting my application, I sent my documents through registered mail. I just hope I don't need to mail additional requirements... More power!!
Dolcevita: Hi, Im glad that you have already received your QNC assessment, but unfortunately, they asked you to provide some more documents. I feel for you, man. You waited 3, 4 months, only to wait even longer.
I am still waiting for my assessment results. I do hope that my application and my qualifications will pass through. I hope to receive the results (hopefully positive) soon...

P.S.
You pay AU$158 initially upon application to QNC. The license fee worth AU$94 is paid later upon obtaining the QNC RN license. So, you subtract first AU$94 from the application fee of AU$143..
Hi joeturtle, thanks for your posts, I'm learning a lot from you guys. Im just concerned with my review in preparation for the challenge test. Though, I'm still on the process of submitting my QNC1 to QNC, I'm anticipating the challenge test. I had my IELTS exam scheduled this March and so I have to resign from my current job effective this March too, to focus on my reviews. I'm desperate and lost about resources/review materials for the challenge test so I emailed CAS and QNC for any suggestions and fortunately they responded to my enquiry and suggested 4 books which corresponds to each part of the challenge test And I had to purchase these online yesterday. Kindly don't get tired posting updates to coach and/or guide us throughout the process. May God bless you back;)
hi! can I ask what books and which site you purchase these books from? Thank you! :)
thanks ziggddy and ciao 88 appreciate your responses! by the way i have a question did you send your transcripts and other docs like diploma RLE sumary etch by yourself? or did u have the school/university mail it for you? thanks bunch in advance
Transcript of Records, RLE, diploma, Board Rating, PRC license photocopy, Board Certificate, Birth certificate (NSO), Marriage certificate (If married), Passport photocopy, Certificate of employment (if with work experience, if none it's okay).. These are all sent by you after having it properly notarized (with address and phone number of notary public) together with the application form and bank draft or credit card information. The only thing that you will not send personally is the verification of license which is sent directly by PRC. So just have to download the form from the QNC website and fill out the form then bring to to PRC. It takes some effort and time to read all over this thread from the beginning but doing so will let you learn a lot, from application to tips for the review and what to expect. I did :-)
