Hey everyone! I tried searching this before posting but I didn't find much that was recent or applicable. I'm basically trying to gauge how prepared I am for NCLEX.
During school we used ATI for proctored exams and practice/studying. I've gotten comfortable with their questions and love the rationales (mostly). On the final predictor test my probability of passing NCLEX on the first attempt was 99%.
Based on last years passing rate, our school decided to hold both the ATI 3 day live review (during the semester) and the Kaplan 4 day live review after graduation. I just finished up the second day and honestly I'm worried. I scored a 66% on the initial diagnostic test they supply.
During the classes when we review questions I feel like I have no idea what they are asking or what the answer options represent. Some questions it feels like you have to read way too far into it. This is the opposite of what our instructors have been saying for the last 2 years.
Is a 66% a decent Kaplan score? If Kaplan questions are similar to NCLEX questions I am worried that I may not pass.
Anyone?

Is the 66% for Kaplan the diagnostic test or average scores of the Qtrainers? If for the diagnostic test I am not sure, but from what is told to us in class that a 65% or better on all Qtrainers is the goal and you have a good chance of passing. Many in my class are struggling with Kaplan due to its difficulty and I heard that Kaplan's questions are much harder than the actual NCLEX, this doesn't mean that you should slack in studying just keep it up and continue to review questions and rationales for every answer. It seems that you are doing pretty good so far, good luck!
66% was on the diagnostic test.
I have been working with ATI and NCLEX mastery because it as worried that Kaplan was hurting instead of helping. I'll start doing the q-bank tests now and see how my scores look.
Thanks for the response!

I felt like Kaplan didn't really help me except for a few questions on the NCLEX. I would say that ATI was more similar to the NCLEX than anything. I didn't really study, to be honest, and passed.
Good luck, aeris. You've got this!
