Thought I would start a new thread on my next class coming up. I know Delta...you have already taken this class, and have commented elsewhere about some of the requirements.
Any words of wisdom you and others can share whould be appreciated.
That is a good tip. I usually try to put in buzz words like community, aggregate, populations, public, health, etc. Guess those buzz words need to be at the beginning of sentence to help the TA skim!Just reiterates, once again, that there is a system to be played here.
And have you noticed when you complain, the "FIRST" thing they ask is, "Did you follow the rubic??!!!
What I've learned is if the rubic says state list the strengths, you do a paragraph saying The strengths are.... That's the only true way to CYA. Some TAs just look at that. Which is why I believe that a lot of them don't really read what we write, but look for KEY words that are on the rubics. But when you have hundreds of students/papers to read, I'm sure most skim....
So true deltaroxxy! My TA took 4 points off of my first community paper because I didn't state word for word my national health objective even though I talked about it throughout my entire paper and in the analysis!!!! Just glad to be done and hoping capstone is better than this mess.

WOW! 4 points is a lot. 2 points took off 12% for me. Will definitely keep these tips in mind. Now for a much needed break for all of us. Enjoy the week everybody!!
