Looks like no thread started for CSU FNP's Spring 2019 semestar. Let's get one running. Anyone else signing up? I submitted my final paperwork today. Do you know if it is a rolling admission process, or they wait until the deadline to start reviewing applications?

See my above response I think you may be looking at the wrong page of the booklist. I think it may be 978-0803638273

ISBN 978-0803638273

Kate, the book is by Adams. ISBN:978-0134867366

It actually might be ISBN 978-0803638273

Hi, Joy16Sarah

Thanks, for the helpful information. I was reading the information as well. I was ready to purchase the books for the semester.

Hi,

Kate221, I was accepted as well. I do not have Facebook, but in this case it's important. Please let me know í ½í¸Š

I would join a Facebook group to stay connected as well! I also want to go FT if I can.

I would be interested in a facebook group or a new group on this website. Either would work for me. Facebook is probably more convenient. Thank you Joy for correcting me on the book list! I did not even see the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Who all is working while in the program? I think I will try to continue to work full time until the Fall and then work 2 days a week.

I will start a facebook group and will make it a closed group. Look up the facebook group under "Columbus State University FNP Spring 2019" to join!!

Why did the other one get taken down?

Hellonew students! I will graduate CSU next semester. It has been an awesome journey. I have learned more about advanced practice nursing than I could ever have thought possible with CSU's cirriculum. Be sure to use your resources (textbooks, assignments, and review books) and learn everything you can because time flys when you are working and in school. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask me. Also, put your education first, even if you have to drop down hours at work. The second year I went part time (2 twelve hour days a week) and now near the end I'm prn (about four days a month). Most of my days are spent studying and reviewing everything I've learned these past two years. It's a lot of info to retain so repetition is the key with all of the content. The assignments are very doable, relevant, and will help you learn the content. To get a head start on things I would recommend ordering the Fitzgerald or Leik review book to study before classes start, that way you will have a huge advantage when classes start. I also ordered text books a few weeks or months before classes started to begin learning the information. I am so thankful for this program, and the cost can't be beat. Good luck!

Does anyone know if the program can be done from Alaska? I know its a online program but it says to check your state before applying. Im wanting to apply for the Fall 2019 or spring 2020.
