The thread here for the Columbia University ETP program for entry in 2012 is pretty long (45 pages right now!), so I was hoping to elicit some of the same responses for those who are applying in 2013. Let's get to know each other!

Why are you applying to Columbia? What have you heard about the program- good, bad or ugly? Are you nervous, excited, ambivalent?

I was accepted into the etp program but rejected from the women's health program. They encouraged me to apply to another specialty, but does this mean i only complete the bsn portion if I decide to explore a bit before deciding on another specialty? I'm a little confused about what this means but am so excited about my acceptance!!!

I got in for Peds! Specializing in oncology. I am excited but EFFF my life. The deposit is due three days before I hear from Duke! I have no idea what to do. :(

I got in for Adult Nursing Practice, Oncology Specialization!!!! Thank you God!!!!!

BTW, today my son turned two years old. I started my pre-reqs nine months pregnant with him and delivered him at the start of the semester. We used to study Anatomy and Physiology during 3am feedings! This is the BEST birthday gift EVER!!!
