Columbia ETP 2016

Hello!

I know this is a bit early, but I'm planning to apply to the apply to the Columbia Entry to Practice Program (among a few others) this fall. I've seen similar forums for past application periods, and thought it might be nice to get one started so we can start to bounce ideas and questions off each other.

Has anyone been to an open house? Any information worth sharing?

Should we start a admitted students Facebook page? Or would it be best to wait until everyone has decided whether to attend or not?

I am 95% sure I will go to Columbia over Yale (not even sure if I got into yale yet) due to the fact that Yale is not DNP, however major financial package differences or a bad experience at the admitted student day could possibly change my mind...

Congrats to everyone that got in!!!! Good luck to you all and please keep everyone updated on what it's like! I didn't get accepted at this time but I plan to apply again and also research other schools in hope that they too will develop a MDE type of program.

I believe this has already been asked, but can anyone repeat the info about cost per the masters year and then per doctorate year? Also credits taken each term? Thanks!!

Congratulations to those who were accepted today! I just got into the MDE/DNP program for PMHNP! Very excited. Rather speechless, actually.

To folks currently on the waitlist and those Columbia passed on (this time around, anyway): keep your head up! We ALL have a lot to offer.

Fran_15, there is a admitted student day the 11th of March and we have to respond on whether we plan to attend or not by the 14th or March.
