Hello!
I know this is a bit early, but I'm planning to apply to the apply to the Columbia Entry to Practice Program (among a few others) this fall. I've seen similar forums for past application periods, and thought it might be nice to get one started so we can start to bounce ideas and questions off each other.
Has anyone been to an open house? Any information worth sharing?
am applying for this summer, just took my gre exam and the score was hilarious, 285 in all, my undergradute gpa is 3.8 in human anatomy and my pre-requites gpa is 4.0, am feeling so nervous to apply because of my gre score, but my husband advised to give it a try, maybe explain why my gre was low,pls any advice for me
Thanks a lot. Have you started/submitted your application? I want to write the essays and hopefully turn it in by weekend.
Hey, this is embarrassing but I got the date mixed up it was not last Wednesday but this Wednesday so I just got back from the open house. So Columbia receives about 700 applications and they accepts 200 of them. And they really place a lot of weight on your personal statements.
Did you find out about the personal statements from the information sessions? I've been fretting over my lower undergraduate GPA, due to a lot of unforeseen circumstances, but I think I make up for that in everything else that I bring to the table. Especially since my undergraduate years are a decade removed!

Will you be attending their open house? I'm going this Wednesday.
