Columbia ETP 2016

Hello!

I know this is a bit early, but I'm planning to apply to the apply to the Columbia Entry to Practice Program (among a few others) this fall. I've seen similar forums for past application periods, and thought it might be nice to get one started so we can start to bounce ideas and questions off each other.

Has anyone been to an open house? Any information worth sharing?

I feel for those of you stuck at home on a snow day--I'd be going crazy. At least I have a busy day at work to keep it from totally consuming my mind today.

I did just call the Admissions office to get everything straightened out with my email address and asked if they had an update on when decisions would be available, and I was told "the week of February 15." Really, really hope we're not waiting that long!

yeah , I can't imagine either right now having a snow day.. I'd go crazy lol.. I have 3 jobs currently and 2 on call jobs so I keep as busy as possible to preoccupy my mind haha.

The latest we will know is next Monday. I think we will find out sometimes this week. It would be crazy if we found out after monday as they have states multiple times that we will know "by the 15th of February". This wait is killing me!

I'm with you guys! I applied for the MDE/DNP-FNP, and currently on the waitlist at Umass....

I have not heard from MGH, Northeastern, or UN Vermont yet. Have any of you? Good Luck!

I have the next few days free as well... I'm keeping busy by salvaging some old furniture haha! Today's project is re-upholstering a bench seat. It's been a lifesaver keeping me off of my computer and keeping my mind occupied! (although, I'm obviously here right now...)

srittenh, I heard back from Northeastern last week, I actually have a phone interview with them tomorrow. But haven't heard anything from MGH or Seattle U.

Yeah, I hope that "by the 15th of February" means that we'll know before. These admissions people are very vague in their dates, so I wouldn't be surprised if we find out after, but I hope we know soon....the wait is unbearable..

I tried studying and no luck- can't get my mind off these decision letters! Something tells me 3pm today but idk- hate not knowing. [emoji24]
