Hey Y'all!
I'm getting ready to apply to the Columbia's ETP for 2010. I was just wondering who else was applying and what you were doing to make your application stronger! Also where else are you applying and what do your stats look like (GPA, GRE, experience, etc) ? I'm getting nervous as I start the whole application process and just thought I'd turn to the forums for some support and guidance!
I'm looking forward to sharing the journey with y'all! Hope to hear from you soon! :)

xtine009, sure, i'll let you know if and when it changes :) i actually heard back from an academic counselor, who said that the status of our applications will be updated within a week. so i imagine you'll know for sure if they received your transcripts or not by then.
you can always e-mail them too, if you need instant gratification like me
ooooladoula: i haven't had any problems with my GRE scores being sent... but i think you did right in sending them again!
Hi b3starr,
On Wednesday I got an email to log into my application and see if it was complete/incomplete. I heard from other people they got it earlier. It was sent by the director or assistant director of admissions. The office told me they send the email when they've gotten around to logging all your info in the system, hence the different timing of emails. You should log in and it will tell you what they've received on your application. When I spoke to the office yesterday, they also told me they want decisions mailed by the end of the first week. Good luck everyone!
Thanks ooooladoula!
So i logged in and everything was logged in. I graduated about 3 years ago (from undergrad), but have completed all of my pre-reqs about 2 years ago. Im wondering (and im sure my paranoia and anxiety is contributing to this) if this is any indication of not getting in?? Anyone else not recieve an email regading this???

Ditto to what KHNurse2B said... the "unofficial" just means that you need to either complete pre-reqs, or sent in the final transcripts if you were in progress of completing them when the application was due.
Not so sure that they won't let you know if they have received the transcripts (I just sent an e-mail asking yesterday if they received mine!).
Finding out at the beginning of Feb if we are accepted would be wonderful!
