Columbia ETP Program 2012 entry

Hi,

I plan on applying for the anesthesia program at Columbia and I wanted to know how the background of those that have been accepted look like to see if I'm even competitive enough apply.

I really need all of your help on this. Where online can we see the itemized list of what CUSON have received and what they haven't?? Is it the same place that we submitted our application? I checked over and over and there is NO place that indicate any of that. I haven't received that email yet but from seeing some of your posts, it seems that there is a way for us to check even without seeing the email...

When i go to the "applyyourself" page and enter "check application", all it says is "application status: Submitted" That's it. Nothing else. Am I at the right place?

I didn't click on anything - it's literally the first thing I see after I log in.

i honestly think they're still sorting out paperwork. and once they have all your paperwork that they need then they'll update it letting you know the status.

It seems like they're sorting through everything, still. I got the email. I am complete and have been submitted for review, so it sounds like they have received everything. Now the waiting begins...

Myelin, could I ask when you submitted your application? I did it at the end of September. Still haven't received the email yet. :-/

I submitted it a couple of days before the deadline. I wouldn't sweat it, maybe they're going through apps alphabetically? They will get to yours! Or maybe they're starting with the most recently received.

I'm waiting for an email as well. I would love to go to Columbia!!! Did anyone else apply to NYU's Accelerated BSN for the Spring Early Decision?

I spoke to the lady at admissions. She said they were supposed to finish processing the applications by the end of today, but now they are hoping to finish them by the end of tomorrow. This could only mean one thing...they are getting a HELL lot of ED applications.
