Congrats to everyone that got in! I got into the acute care DNP program! I’m super excited but would love some advise on the program and on NYC. I’m moving from chicago so any help on how to find an apartment, roommates where to live would be soooo helpful. Also does anyone plan on working or getting a per diem job while I’m school? Does NYC have an app hospitals use to get travel per diem?
Congratulations! I would go on indeed.com and check out perdiem jobs near the hospital.

Hey so you were accepted to a few other schools right? Was that you? How'd you make your final decision on columbia?

Hi, yes that was me! Columbia turned out to be similarly priced to Hopkins, and Columbia's in-person education is the best fit for my professional goals (the networking capacity is unparalleled imo)! I think I'll be ready to commit if I receive an RN job offer in the area to help me with the cost ? Hope you hear some good news from Columbia soon!

Yeah me too! I'm definitely not looking to move for school LOL traveling to New York from Jersey would have been enough for me. But good luck hope you find something soon that aligns with your schedule!

Hi, I also got accepted to the FNP-DNP program. I emailed the program director and she told me it's a majority in-person program with few virtual courses. So I would say just prepared for in-person for the first term.
