I was surprised that there didn't seem to be a thread for this year's applicants to Columbia's ETP program. So I thought I would start one. The information session was today, but I wasn't able to go. I was hoping someone else went and would be able to post any admission statistics or tips for the personal statement they gave.
In the last few years it's been announced on the 6th or 7th. The 6th would be fantastic because I have a deposit for another program due that night and wouldn't have to pay it if I got it to Columbia! I agree with KimiOren2, I have a good feeling but may have to wait a bit longer to know for sure.
I'm reading last year's thread and it looks like they say "mid-February" every year, but the acceptances almost always go out in the first week of Feb, and in the afternoon (eastern time). Last year it was on a Wednesday, the year before it was a Tuesday.. we are getting sooo close guys! I can't think about anything else and I love having you guys on this board to commiserate with my friends and family are tired of hearing me speculate haha
AAAAHHHHGGGG!!!! Nerves. So close, the days seem so long...good luck everyone!!! thanks for being here, being present, and holding space for all of us. As acceptance dates get closer, I just keep asking, " May all doors not in my best interest close, and may all doors for my highest good, remain open and easy to walk through..." it kinda helps :)

cindynmickey, I spoke to the Financial Aid department about the Robert Wood Johnson scholarship. The date on the website is from last year and they have not worked out the details for this year's scholarship yet (I think Columbia has to negotiate with RWJF or something). They said after they send out acceptances they will also send out info about all available scholarships.
