How long between graduation and NCLEX?

Just wondering what the experience has been for people in CO. The last graduating class took the NCLEX anywhere from 4-12 weeks after graduation. That is a big variation when you are aggressively looking for employment. Any tips on how to get in sooner?

I graduated last year and it took a long time for me to get approved most bc my transcript was lost by DORA 3 times. :/ I didn't test until the first week of August and I graduated May 16th

Jeez! Thanks for telling me that. I hope I don't have to wait that long, or the job search will be even harder and our savings is already seriously dwindling. Plus, I just don't think I could take the anxiety of waiting and waiting and waiting.

I graduated May 7th and will be taking my NCLEX on June 2...a little less than 4 weeks. They say the sooner the better.

I graduated in Dec and managed to take my NCLEX just shy of 2 weeks from graduation. I used the Christmas break to my advantage, no one wanted to take NCLEX on Dec 23, I got my results on Christmas day, which would have been a really bad day had I failed! ;) I was eager to test because I also wanted to job seek aggressively. You might find yourself so lucky right before another holiday. Also I didn't give anyone the opportunity to mail anything. I picked up my transcripts from school and drove them straight downtown with my application and 3 kid in the middle of December. I was friendly to everyone I met in connection with my application. At the office downtown they told me 3-4 weeks but in reality it was 24 hrs. ;)

I did the EXACT same thing! However I currently live in Wyoming just because that is where I went to nursing school. I am in Denver basically every other weekend, but I left Wy on a Thursday to drive down to Denver for a job interview on Friday and then right after I went straight down to the BON and dropped everything off. I didn't want to risk anything getting lost in the mail, especially since I was offered the job contingent on passing my boards...I didn't have time to waste!! Anyway....dropped off my license information on Friday and got my ATT by Tuesday!
