Collin College Summer 2016 ADN

Published

HEY Folks!!

Just wondering how many of you there are out there who have applied for the accelerated Summer ADN Program at Collin College! I have not seen anything posted on the web and I would love to get in touch with everyone!

So excited!

Anyone?

I don't think so at Collin. Possibly at other colleges!

FYI: I spoke with clinical coordinator and she said their new immunization policy requires you to get titers on everything just to be safe as most records we have will not be accepted. This way if you do show positive for certain ones and just low you will only need a booster shot and therefore can continue with classes/clinicals. Also you can not register until after orientation and a code will be provided to you to register. She stated this is stress free way to do it as once you are accepted it doesn't matter if you register the day before you already have a spot secured. And classes do start May 16th.

That's really stings!!! As the titer test is expensive!! She sent me a place via email and they are 100 plus

Honesty I don't remember. I wanna say I got a 5 on the Psb? A's and B's in all classes including pre requisite and Co requisite classes. I tried not to stress too much the details of exact scores etc. Turned in transcripts and left it in God's hands. :)

Immunity Panel | Prenatal and Employment Testing

I found this place more affordable includes HEP B, MMR,and Varicella for $139 :)

Immunization series must be completed by the first day of class? Or first day clinicals? And when is orientation?

What I really want to know is if we need to have the physical exam part on the paper they gave us done by orientation? Anybody know?
