HEY Folks!!

Just wondering how many of you there are out there who have applied for the accelerated Summer ADN Program at Collin College! I have not seen anything posted on the web and I would love to get in touch with everyone!

HI ladies, I have been quietly stalking this forum for a while now. I too applied to Summer and was waitlisted. Has this ever happened to yall? Thoughts? @csmith176, I saw that in one of your previous posts you too were waitlisted at one point. Were you ever able to find out what number you were on the list? How did that go for you? I need advice stat! Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear, but from what I heard that's not entirely a bad thing!

just call on Monday to see how far on the wait list you are, so if someone turns down there spot they go from the wait list people

I have no idea but sometimes things come up and applicants do turn them down or they also got accepted else where , did you apply for Fall as well? How many points did you enter with?

Yes, I also applied for fall. To be honest, I don't know exactly how many points I had, around 27??? Maybe... ???

I see well hopefully you get in for the summer!!! If not Good luck on Fall :) I hipe fall letters don't take long

Do you know If you can take classes in the evening? If so what time do they usually start, I have 3 kids under the age of 4 and Daycare would cost a lot, and everyone in my family works so no help there.

Definitely don't get discouraged! I was told by a nurse who's part of the hiring process at Baylor Heart hospital that you will only be on the waiting list once or twice tops and then will get it in! You keep moving up on the list, so that is good! I never called to ask, but I know letters are just starting to come for other schools, so you may get in!

What was your PSB score as well as your grades for the prereq classes?
