Collin College Summer 2016 ADN

HEY Folks!!

Just wondering how many of you there are out there who have applied for the accelerated Summer ADN Program at Collin College! I have not seen anything posted on the web and I would love to get in touch with everyone!

So excited!

Honestly.....I have NO idea. I did not ever even check my PSB results. I am planning to go up tomorrow and I will tell you all for sure!

thanks!!! I hope I get in for Fall!! As I saw someone earlier with Bs in prereqs get in so I'm very hopeful since I made As but overall I have 26points

So for those who applied for both summer and fall, since you got accepted this summer, will they take your application out of fall? How does that work?

I had emailed and asked a question and the recruiter said that if you said yes to the summer program, you couldn't switch to the fall. So I'm guessing they will. We could say no, but not a lot of people knew about the summer program, so we wouldn't be guaranteed a spot for fall!

Makes sense if you accept for summer they would take the fall application out. Does anyone plan on working during nursing school?

I don't currently "work" I'm a SAHM of 3 under the age of 4 which is difficult but hubby is very supportive and I know he will help me with the kids while I study and such

Just dropped off my acceptance letter and I'm pretty sure H303 isn't a real room. It was so hard to find! I ended up giving it to the receptionist at the very end of the 3rd floor hallway in the new health science center & she gave me the list of immunizations!

Did you happen to ask if we are supposed to have that physical exam filled out for orientation by a provider? She told me to bring the paper to orientation but didnt clarify about the physical exam. I was originally told we wouldnt need it until 1st day.

No! I didn't even look at the paper until after I walked out and wondered the same thing. Sorry!

So I think they lost my summer application because the receptionist told me that all she is able to see is my fall application. I had to call and email (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) who is out until next Monday. I personally brought both applications there. I'm so frustrated beyond words :(
