Collin College Nursing Fall 2021

Hello! I know I am super early, but just trying to be proactive. I am planning on applying to the Fall 2021 ADN program at Collin. I currently have a B in A and P 1 and 2 and will be finishing Micro in the Spring semester. Does anyone know someone who has gotten in with B's in the science pre-reqs and a higher TEAS score? I'm taking the TEAS in 2 weeks and if I need to plan to take it again before submitting my final application in May. Any insight would be helpful ? 

I applied with 19.2. I had signed up to take the TEAS for my second attempt and my son decided to swallow a penny the night before and I was stuck in the ER all night and he had surgery the morning of my test. ? I am so nervous I didn’t make the cut this time around. I was really hoping to hear something this week..

I’m applying with 20.3 points. So anxious to hear! Thanks for letting us know it would be another couple weeks. I have been anxiously checking my emails every day since June 1st. LOL.

Oh my goodness! I wonder why it’s so late! I wish we didn’t have to wait that long. ? Thank you for letting me know! I am applying with 20.1 points. I’m very anxious to hear back! It’s so competitive, and I think there will be even more applicants this semester.

I'm applying with a 17.4 point cumulative. What's the likelihood of me getting in? I see so many with higher points than me ? 
Getting a little nervous over here.

Hi,

I applied with 19.2 points, and I've taken TEAS twice already, so now I'm waiting for them to say I'm not good or smart enough because I feel like there's gonna be so many students applying with higher points this year...yikes. But I keep my fingers crossed and wish everybody luck! Hope to hear good news soon!

Y’all have to be more positive.  I’m getting in with 19.1 points.  I did well! I’m choosing to speak good things into life.  If you did everything you could to do your best and your points are high then believe in yourself.

You're absolutely right about believing in yourself and staying positive, but sometimes you gotta be real too (especially when you're aware of your competitors). I'm just trying not to get my hopes too high because I don't wanna be disappointed if something goes unplanned. But I know for sure I'll keep trying my best because I do believe in myself:) Wishing you luck too!

I was thinking about registering for classes, just in case. I still need some basics for a BSN. Has anyone else done this?

 I am trying to be positive as well just heard its super competitive so get nervous as well, but I am also enrolling in classes for the fall (also for BSN) just in case!
