Hello! I know I am super early, but just trying to be proactive. I am planning on applying to the Fall 2021 ADN program at Collin. I currently have a B in A and P 1 and 2 and will be finishing Micro in the Spring semester. Does anyone know someone who has gotten in with B's in the science pre-reqs and a higher TEAS score? I'm taking the TEAS in 2 weeks and if I need to plan to take it again before submitting my final application in May. Any insight would be helpful ?

Hi Gracie! They mentioned in the email that there is a waitlist, but they didn't give many details about it. They just said if the proper paperwork and deadlines aren't completed that applicants on the waitlist will be offered a spot. I wish you the best of luck, and hope that you are able to get a spot through the waitlist! ?
I’m thinking they will give out the details about numbers and statistics in orientation..? Hopefully! I’m super curious as well. I’m kinda thinking the local scrub shops will be able to tell us what scrubs are accepted. I mean, if you wanna already buy.
Ashley, I’m so sorry! I would look up and double calculate points. And if it isn’t adding up maybe call and ask. Accidents happen and maybe there was a typo on the email or something? I’d double check all of that, just to be sure.
☺️ I cannot wait to get all the information. I also just found a lab that is offering 20% off until July 5th for all the titers we need, if anyone is interested! (You will choose from a list of places close to you for the blood draw)

Yeah I had all of them complete. I had A in micro A in A&P 1 and B in A&P 2. No military point but I did get a 78 on my TEAS so maybe that is why? I think it’s silly for one test to be heavier than an actual class. But I’m just going to call and see what I could do other than retake the TEAS to get a higher score. Maybe those 1 or 2 points more will help me get in next round. Is anyone else trying LVN as well??

No idea. But I’d LOOOVE to know! I’d also like to see the stats on acceptance scores. I’m always interested in seeing rangers. I wonder how many they accepted in total? I’m just so excited still!
