Hey guys I didn't see any thread for the Spring 2022 semester, so I thought I should start one ?
Hopefully there is a decision soon. The next virtual ADN information session is Oct 26 at 3pm, if there are any additional questions. The last call was in Sept it was mentioned that there were about 300-350 applicants for 2022 Spring. I’m curious as to why this time around it’s taking about 2 months to be notified.

Maybe they are just short staffed. Not sure if they still have covid regulations for being on campus.

I'm worried about the same thing, but there's no telling because we unfortunately have no idea what is going on. Just keep fingers crossed guys. I honestly believe all of you guys will get in. I'm VERY impressed by everyone's work ethic and grades and that's coming from someone who has a Bachelors degree and didn't do HALF as great as the rest of you.

Great question, I heard 75 due to covid, but Spring semesters at every nursing school are usually different from fall. Just because there is less of a number of applicants usually. That's what I've seen and heard, but of course there are exceptions!

I think it depends on how competitive the applicants that submitted are and the other factors I listed. If they have less applicants but a more than usual amount of competitive applications I can’t see them cutting back by a large amount, if at all. On the other hand if they have less applicants and a less than usual amount of competitive applications to go with that I’d be surprised if they didn’t cut the class.
If I remember correctly they cut that class by almost half if not more, but again that was for a fall semester and I am not aware of the circumstances behind cutting that class. I am merely speculating and am not trying to cause anymore undue stress to any of you.
