Collin College ADN program Fall 2022

Published

Hi, I know it’s kinda early but I wanted to start a string for those applying to Collin college ADN/RN program in the Fall of 2022. I just want to know where I fall points wise and competitive wise to others who are also applying this coming Fall.

Hey, there’s a checklist on the Collin college ADN program page under admissions. You need to send your TEAS score, make sure they have your official transcripts and have your filled out application with your unofficial transcripts attached.

So if I was turning my application in by hand do I just have to print out an unofficial transcript and attach it with it?

I believe so, that is what I am doing. On the site it says to attach unofficial transcript(s) to the application and since you have to print out a physical copy of the application, I assume you also need physical copies of your unofficial as well.I’m also turning mine in by hand.

Hey, has anyone who turned in their application by hand gotten a confirmation email yet?

Does anyone know when they send out acceptance/rejections for Fall 2022?

On the website it said it said they’ll be done looking over applications in like 4-5 weeks after the due date, so probably the last week of June or first week of July I’m guessing. Also did you get a any sort of confirmation email for them recording your application?

No, no confirmation email  I delivered mine in person.  Have you received any reply?

No I didn’t get anything either,I turned mine in in-person as well. They may not have had time to send confirmation emails and just went straight to evaluating. Or they may not send anything until they can tell us what date we should get our letter.

No, I turned my application in May 20th and no confirmation yet. I’m gonna call June 7th because it gives them a week after the deadline to send out confirmation.

I turned mine in as well on Thursday May 26th.  I was hoping to at least recieve a confirmation email. Good luck to everyone!

I dropped my application off in person on May 31st. The box was full! But I don’t know that we receive any notice from them regarding the status of the application until acceptance letters go out.
I also wanted to ask if anyone noticed the change on the website and application,

“Due to the large number of applicants, the ADN program(s) are not able to accept any students that have been unsuccessful in another nursing program.”

Is this the first time they’ve said this? It seems like less students will qualify now.

Regardless, good luck to everyone! It takes a lot of work and determination to get to this point!

We all should receive a notice our application was sent because last semester they did that from what I heard. Also, the website has always said, “Due to the large number of applicants, the ADN program(s) are not able to accept any students that have been unsuccessful in another nursing program.” The lady said the reason why is since they get up to 800-900 applications a semester, they want to be able to pick students that have a better completion rate or something like that and give other people the opportunity to be accepted into the program that have not already been in a program before

Does anyone know how many points they are applying with? Just so everyone has an idea of where they fall in points compared to everyone else.
