Collin College ADN program Fall 2022

Published

Hi, I know it’s kinda early but I wanted to start a string for those applying to Collin college ADN/RN program in the Fall of 2022. I just want to know where I fall points wise and competitive wise to others who are also applying this coming Fall.

Meaning they don’t accept late work for ATI assignments. Make sure to turn it in before 11:59pm on Wednesdays. Also for Lab the ATI assignment has to be graded at a 100% to be considered for a grade (it’s a completion grade). What I do personally is get the test done because you can retake it until you get a 100% and then I go back through the material. It helps me understand the module and connect the dots better IMO.

Oh OK I saw on the syllabus it said 80% on post test.

I know it’s 80% for 1125 but last semester for 1216 it was 100% for the post test, they might have changed it from last semester.

Edit: You’re correct! It is 80% now. Looks like that changed.. what a relief.

Has anyone found the Hospital Expectation Assignment?

It’s just a consent form to be signed. It’s in the first module on canvas under “getting started”

Do you mean that as a good or bad thing LOL?

I just want to know the secret on how to get a good score LOL. I'm studying constantly, but I do not feel as if my score is where I want it to be at.

Hi. So depending on what area you tend to struggle in, I used YouTube videos and I now use nurse hub for various topics. I was extremely worried about the math section and I really studied for that and scored a 95. Particularly, Brandon craft for the TEAS math and blossom with Jessica were helpful. If you just search TEAS prep for whatever subject into YouTube you will find many videos. It was repetition and studying and then quizing myself. I hope this helps. good luck! ?

All I did was read over the book that ATI puts out every year for TEAS prep. It's like a $20 book. I took one of the three practice tests in the back to gauge where I'm at and then used that as my guide to know where my weak points are. After studying I took another practice test to see how I've improved. I made a 91.3% on my TEAS
