Has anyone applied for the ABSN for Summer 2017 ?

Thanks @ casseyioro I wasn't able to find anything in my budget ,but I don't lose hope. I Will be traveling to New York, this week end. I hope to meet you Monday.

hello!! can you give me Ms Bimbo email?

Reading this post gave some helpful info about CNR. I am really concern about being able to work while attending the program. I see they offer part time and full time study for the accelerated nursing program. Is it doable? Also the part time and full time programs, are they only available during an 8-4 schedule?

There is only one "accelerated" program to my knowledge. We move in a cohort basically taking the same classes at the same time, together. In the summer we did have class 3 days a week from 8-4 & then clinical on the other day from 7-1. During the fall we had class Wednesday 9-4, Thursday 9-1 (only till 1 every other week) & then clinical on a third day for the whole semester, + clinical on a fourth day for half the semester. Anyhow, as you can see the schedule varies a lot! As far as working. Many students work and still kill their classes. Some work and struggle. The individualized track seems like a good option for people who want to finish at their own pace.

Thanks for the feedback. I called today and found out they only have accelerated not the individualized track anymore. Unfortunately I have to work at night in order to have my job pay for the program if i get accepted. So, Im just gonna have to put on my big girl pants and make it happen. lol

Hi, does anyone know if TEAS is required for admissions. It says so on the website but I spoke to someone from admissions and they said it wasnt required. Help :(

So you are at the copcity campus?

To the copcity campus?

Hi All,

Can anyone give an update on their accelerated program? Any tips, things to consider, advice. I have been accepted to CNR and mount saint vincent. It seems CNR has a much higher NCLEX pass rate than mount saint vincent. I also applied to Lehman, but won't know for another couple of months. Would those that have been in the program recommend CNR?

Thanks!
