Hi everyone!
I have been looking around the site for info on the College of New Rochelle Accelerated program and there doesn't seem to be too many people applying or in the program.
If anyone has any information about this program (how competitive it is, if it is any good, any other relevant info) it would be greatly appreciated! :)
Sorry Guys, my phone died so I didnt notice the new posts. Ok Ms.L, i got the email at 10 this morning after I called the school to make an appointment to sit with Ms. G and to find out if i can pay my deposit at the same time (so that I dont have to wait, or make multiple trips). Shortly thereafter I got an email that was sent to 14 other people (15 emails listed). It just said that we must schedule time to meet before May 27, (Im going tomorrow afternoon) and that June 2nd is the mandatory meet date for all accepted students. On that day we will get syllabi and know our books (which I willl post BB93) and meet our instructors. June 2nd is an all day meeting. Also enclosed in that letter was the fact we have to schedule our CPR through the school and that Health forms must be completed by june 8. I suggest that when you go to meet to register for classes with Ms. G, that you also hand in your health forms and deposit. Saves time and gas, because the June 2 (tuesday) mandatory meeting probably won't leave time for that. The email only had 15 adresses, when there are 24 seats, so 9 people (you may be one of them) did not provide an email adress but may have gotten in. Im sure yours will come today, and check any alternate email adresses you may have provided them with. Good luck ladies, i've got my fingers crossed for you all.
ohh side note, in one day i bought 85% of the things i need for moving/apartment all on sale, so if anyone needs a coupon or a suggested store let me know.
Your on your way to becoming a Nurse, sounds like a lot you have to do, along with moving and everything else, so you must be very excited. I just got through reading a lot of post on this web site, and if I must say so, some of the stories you read about Nursing School can scare the living daylights out of you..................
BUT I'M NOT SCARED, I'M MORE CURIOUS ABOUT THE CHALLENGE THEN SCARED.
